The BLM 03 Cg Boundary Layer Capsule by Schoeps is used to capture audio in critical applications such as TV, film sound and more. This capsule features a hemispherical polar pattern. An active hard-wired cable allows you to join the capsule with any microphone amplifier of the Colette series (except battery-operated models). The BLM 03 Cg can be discreetly placed and is well suited in places such as the interior of a car or beneath the lid of a piano. The capsule offers 2 low-cut filters to help adjust low frequencies. This allows very effective suppression of low-frequency and infrasonic effects of wind and vibration. CUT-1 features a 24 dB/oct rolloff below 60 Hz, CUT-2 is below 30 Hz.
